Senior AI Gameplay Programmer (R27157)

Work closely with art and design teams to create and evolve AI-driven gameplay features.,Experiment with game design and iterate rapidly while making sound technical and algorithmic decisions.,Drive, develop, and maintain fundamental AI systems shared within the Fortnite AI ecosystem.,Collaborate with engine AI teams to improve AI systems.,Ensure a high-quality user experience across all supported platforms.,Optimize and debug existing AI systems related to gameplay.

Professional experience in game development, including shipping AAA titles with AI expertise.,Experience working with AI systems such as behavior trees, finite state machines, pathfinding, and animation.,Excellent proficiency in C++ and ability to develop AI-driven gameplay mechanics and tools.,Very good knowledge of video games and ability to analyze and clearly express strengths and weaknesses of existing game design, with a strong interest in online games.,Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.,Experience working on a live service game considered a plus.,High autonomy, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently.,Creativity in problem-solving and ability to propose solutions beyond established approaches.
