Senior Advisor Operational Risk
Description
As a Senior Advisor in Operational Risk at National Bank of Canada, you will play a key role in transforming risk management and impacting clients directly. Your responsibilities include implementing the operational risk management framework within National Bank Direct Brokerage (NBDB), overseeing projects for risk governance, performing risk analyses, documenting operational events, managing risk governance activities (including third parties, cybersecurity, controls, and operational resilience), and managing NBDB’s business continuity plan. You will act as an expert on operational risk topics and contribute to a team that encourages evolution and challenges the status quo.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience,Experience in operational risk,Solid knowledge of direct brokerage activities,Experience in project management,Knowledge of the sourcing process is an asset,Ability to prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership teams,Proactive and ability to set priorities
