Join KPMG's Private Enterprise or Assurance practice as a Senior Accountant to help clients manage risk, improve efficiency, and ensure transparency. The role involves turning insights into opportunities for clients and communities, focusing on supporting entrepreneurs, family businesses, privately-held companies, and high-net-worth individuals. You will apply audit and accounting methodologies, conduct financial statement reviews and compilations for private companies, and contribute to client success.

What We're Looking For

Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices and methodologies at client engagements.,Conduct financial statement review & compilations for private companies.,Lead field engagement teams and coach/mentor junior staff members.,Perform analysis of complex accounting issues.,Perform financial and systems analysis.,Develop and maintain relationships with clients.,Conduct compilation and review engagements (for Private Enterprise Core Services).,Prepare year-end adjusting entries and bookkeeping, as required (for Private Enterprise Core Services).,Prepare corporate, personal, and other tax returns (for Private Enterprise Core Services).

Ideal Candidate

Successful completion of the CFE and/or working towards a CPA designation (for some roles).,Enrolment in the CPA Canada professional education program or holding another nationally recognized professional accounting designation an asset.,General understanding of the Accounting Cycle, General Ledgers and Account Posting (for Private Enterprise Core Services).

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in accounting or business administration, or Accounting/business degree or diploma.
