As a Senior Accountant in KPMG's Audit & Assurance practice, you will contribute to delivering high-quality audit work for private organizations. This role involves applying KPMG's audit methodologies, conducting financial statement audits for private companies, leading engagement teams, coaching junior staff, and analyzing complex accounting issues. It emphasizes a challenging yet supportive environment focused on continuous learning and client service.
What We're Looking For
Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices and methodologies at client engagements.
Conduct external and internal financial statement audits for private companies.
Leadership of field engagement teams as well as coaching and mentoring junior staff members.
Perform analysis of complex accounting issues.
Perform financial and systems analysis.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
Ideal Candidate
Accounting/business degree required
Enrolment in the CPA Canada professional education program or holding another nationally recognized professional accounting designation an asset
2+ years post graduate experience with a public accounting firm
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree
