Description

This role at KPMG involves joining a team of problem solvers dedicated to improving audit quality within the Audit & Assurance practice. The individual will contribute to new requirements and enhancements for the audit quality program, supporting the Department of Professional Practice (DPP) leadership. Responsibilities include driving change, implementing new business processes, embedding quality initiatives, and collaborating with various stakeholders internally and externally. The position also involves supporting regulatory reporting and maintaining client service accountabilities.

What We're Looking For

Support the implementation of a comprehensive monitoring model, including changes to business processes, development and measurement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and a robust accountability framework.

Enhance audit quality through various initiatives to centralize processes.

Support DPP Leadership with frequent and detailed regulatory reporting, engaging with key external stakeholders.

Work across National groups to compile standardized Global reporting requirements (e.g., Transparency Report).

Support the execution and appropriate evidence of DPP processes within the System of Quality Management.

Provide guidance to the National Audit Support Professionals Group.

Liaise with Risk Management for program alignment.

Retain a small volume of client service accountabilities to maintain linkage to engagement work.

Ideal Candidate

Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.

3+ years of experience in a large professional services firm.

Minimum Education

Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.
