Senior Account Manager, Commercial Banking

Description

This role involves managing and growing a portfolio of business clients within the Commercial & Private Banking team. The Senior Account Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities, formulate strategies to increase client base, and guide clients through their financial projects by offering suitable Bank products and services. The role requires adapting financial advice to meet evolving client needs, negotiating terms while adhering to risk management, and drawing up business development plans. Collaboration with the Regional Vice-President and participation in networking events are also key aspects of the job. The candidate must also identify and manage risks within the Personal and Commercial Banking sector.

What We're Looking For

Identify and develop business opportunities and client base, establish business development strategies, assist clients with financial strategies and suitable products/services, adapt financial products and advice to client needs, negotiate agreements while meeting risk management and profitability criteria, draw up business development plans, assist the Regional Vice-President in reaching objectives, work with the Manager – Financing Solutions, actively participate in networking activities, and identify all risks inherent to the Personal and Commercial Banking sector's activities. Must have at least 4 to 8 years of experience in sales and business development within the financial industry, experience in analysis of financial statements, and experience in commercial credit.

Ideal Candidate

University certificate and 8 years' experience; or Bachelor's degree and 6 years' experience; or Master's degree and 4 years' experience.
