Lightspeed Commerce Inc. is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join its payments sales team in Europe. This role involves selling Lightspeed Payments, an in-house payment solution integrated with Lightspeed's Point of Sale (POS) system, to existing customers. The successful candidate will be part of the Global Payments Go-To-Market (GTM) team, reporting to the Head of Global GTM.
Generate opportunities within the client base through warm introductions from Account Managers, SDR-sourced introductions, phone and email outreach, and company-led campaigns.
Effectively lead prospects through a defined sales process from qualification to signing.
Lead presentations and pricing negotiations.
Partner with the onboarding team to guide merchants from application to launch.
Act as a payments subject matter expert for other units, offering guidance and coaching.
Share product-related feedback with product teams and collaborate on new product launches.
Track activities in Salesforce.com.
Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management.
2+ years of payments experience.
3+ years of experience in a closing role within a solution-sales or technology-related environment.
History of developing own opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to succeed in a revenue target-based environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
