Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Account Executive for its payments sales team in Europe. This role involves selling Lightspeed Payments, an in-house payment solution integrated with Lightspeed POS, to existing customers. The successful candidate will generate opportunities, lead prospects through the sales process, conduct presentations and negotiations, partner with the onboarding team, act as a payments subject matter expert, provide product feedback, and track activities in Salesforce. The position is based in Berlin, Germany.
Generate opportunities within the client base using warm introductions, SDR-sourced introductions, phone and email outreach, and company campaigns.,Effectively lead prospects through a defined sales process from qualification to signing.,Lead presentations and pricing negotiations.,Partner with the onboarding team to guide merchants from application to launch.,Act as a payments subject matter expert, offering guidance and coaching.,Share product-related feedback with product teams and collaborate on new product launches.,Track activities in Salesforce.com.,Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management.
2+ years of payments experience,3+ years of experience in a closing role in a solution-sales / technology-related environment,History of developing their own opportunities,Demonstrated ability to have succeeded in a revenue target-based environment
