This role is part of the Securitization Financing Portfolio Management (SFPM) team within RBC Capital Markets' Global Markets division. The SFPM team provides critical support for securitization finance activities across various regions, including transactional execution, ongoing collateral monitoring, administration, and reporting for a diverse portfolio of bespoke private securitization transactions. The role also involves managing finance companies, supporting structured finance transactions, and handling operational, compliance, project management, and front office origination responsibilities.
Oversee and coordinate day-to-day management of US RBC-administered ABCP conduit programs.,Serve as first line of defense for ongoing collateral monitoring, identifying portfolio aberrations or breaches.,Assist with creating and maintaining custom seller report templates for collateral validation and tracking.,Enter key monthly portfolio statistics into collateral tracking systems and produce periodic reporting.,Help set portfolio administration standards and develop procedures for consistent reporting.,Coordinate and lead deal closing and funding meetings.,Participate in due diligence meetings for clients.,Assist with annual external audits and periodic internal/external business audits.,Develop knowledge of transactions and understanding of legal documents to maintain deal data.,Review administration sections of legal documentation to ensure proper booking and administration.,Ensure required deal-related documentation is retained.,Facilitate AML/KYC onboarding for new or existing clients.,Work with internal and external partners to resolve operational issues.,Participate in projects for new products, transaction types, or process enhancements.,Proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies and escalate them.
MBA or undergraduate degree (finance, economics, accounting, or mathematics preferred but not required).,1-3 years of prior Securitization experience at a financial institution, rating agency, issuing client, or buy-side firm (preferred but not required).
