As a Second Year Staff Accountant in the Audit & Assurance practice, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit work for both public and private organizations. The role involves applying KPMG's audit methodologies, leading field engagement teams, coaching junior staff, analyzing complex accounting issues, and maintaining client relationships.
What We're Looking For
Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices and methodologies at client engagements.,Conduct external and internal financial statement audits for both public and private companies.,Leadership of field engagement teams as well as coaching and mentoring junior staff members.,Perform analysis of complex accounting issues.,Perform financial and systems analysis.,Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
Ideal Candidate
Relevant post-secondary degree,Enrolment in the CPA Canada professional education program or holding another nationally recognized professional accounting designation an asset,1+ years post graduate experience in external audit of publicly listed entities (PCAOB, IFRS and/or US GAAP)
