Description

The Teller I processes everyday banking transactions for customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. They are responsible for delivering excellent customer experiences, educating customers on TD's products and services, and referring them to partners for specialized solutions. The role involves managing cash transactions, resolving inquiries, and promoting self-service/digital options.

What We're Looking For

Execute TD's Brand promise by delivering a Legendary Customer experience.,Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan, and safe deposit box payments.,Process cash transactions, verify currency, balance cash drawer, and handle night deposits with accuracy.,Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, escalating when necessary.,Engage in lobby leadership to manage customer flow and guide appropriately.,Educate customers on self-service/digital banking options.,Conduct needs-based conversations, offering financial & digital solutions or referring to appropriate partners.,Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act).,Verify customers' identities.,Balance cash drawers, ATMs, and TCDs/TCRs.,Adhere to safe deposit box procedures.,Responsible for cash drawers and vaults, maintaining cash limits and securing cash.,Ensure confidential customer information is securely stored.,Understand and follow dual control.,Follow security and audit measures to minimize loss.,Utilize bank tools to detect, address, and prevent fraud.,Complete all required in-classroom and online training by due dates.

Ideal Candidate

High school diploma or GED.,6 months work-related experience preferred, or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.,Ability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.,Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred.,Strong organizational skills.,Detail-oriented.,Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment.,Excellent communication skills (concise, clear, and consistent).
