Salesforce Quality Assurance Analyst
Description
CGI is looking for a dedicated Salesforce Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure that all Salesforce implementations, customizations, and integrations meet high standards of quality and functionality prior to deployment. The role involves playing a critical part in Salesforce projects by validating that solutions are developed according to business requirements and are defect-free.
What We're Looking For
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing for the Salesforce platform.,Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create detailed test cases and scenarios.,Test Salesforce configurations, custom objects, workflows, validation rules, Apex code, and Lightning components for expected functionality.,Validate data integrity during data migration from legacy systems to Salesforce.,Perform thorough regression testing across complex, integrated systems to prevent new changes from adversely affecting existing Salesforce functionalities.,Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproduction steps using tools like ALM Octane, Zephyr, or Xray.,Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Salesforce developers, administrators, business analysts) to ensure shared understanding and timely issue resolution.
Ideal Candidate
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and the Salesforce platform.,At least five (5) years of full-time employee (FTE) experience in software quality assurance within the last ten (10) years.,At least five (5) years of FTE experience applying functional, non-functional, and integration testing methodologies within a Salesforce environment.,At least three (3) years of FTE experience working in cross-functional teams with business analysts and developers.,At least three (3) years of FTE experience within the last five (5) years performing regression testing across complex, integrated systems, including the use of automated test suites and defect tracking tools.,At least three (3) years of FTE experience with test management and defect tracking tools, including proficiency with one of the following: ALM Octane, Zephyr, or Xray.,Proficiency with three (3) of the following test automation and analysis tools: Tricentis Tosca, SOAPUI, Postman, Neoload, CodeScan, Veracode, Selenium, JMeter, K6, SonarQube, Coverity.
