Description

The Risk Associate at Aritzia supports the Enterprise Risk Management department in preventing, detecting, and resolving loss. This role focuses on ensuring a secure environment, minimizing merchandise loss, protecting people, clients, and assets, and promoting inventory accuracy within the store teams.

Minimize the loss of merchandise from all internal and external avenues.,Support a safe and secure working environment.,Champion and coach the store team on the importance of inventory accuracy.,Safeguard the loss of financial, information, and physical assets.,Protect our people, our clients, and our communities.,Develop and execute strategies to mitigate identified risks.,Monitor the effectiveness of risk management strategies and recommend improvements.,Develop and maintain procedures to identify and report risks.,Work closely with other departments to ensure risk management strategies are properly implemented.,Analyze customer feedback and identify potential risks.,Create and implement policies and processes to reduce risk.,Stay up-to-date on the fashion industry and changing trends.

Ideal Candidate

Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in Loss Prevention or Risk.,Retail experience.,Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field).,1+ year in Loss Prevention or Risk experience preferred.,A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Business and People Leadership principles.,Ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners.,A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business.,An understanding of Aritzia's brand vision and style fundamentals with a focus on trends and cultural influences.,Driven, organized, and a knack for problem-solving.,Risk-aware and passionate about fashion.,Deep understanding of the fashion industry.,Positive attitude.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field, or Post-secondary education in a related field.
