The Retail Banker II serves as a primary point of contact for customers, leveraging financial expertise and consultative skills to guide them on banking solutions. This role is crucial for achieving business growth by identifying suitable TD solutions that help customers meet their financial objectives and enhance their relationship with the bank.

What We're Looking For

Act as a subject matter expert for all TD products, services, policies, and procedures, for both personal and business banking.,Make product recommendations based on customer needs.,Establish and nurture customer relationships.,Utilize Customer Relationship Management tools for proactive assessments and outbound sales activities.,Evaluate and resolve customer issues and problems, escalating when necessary.,Explain detailed information clearly to the team.,Participate in customer outreach, servicing, and advice activities.,Engage with customers on loan products and facilitate application intake.,Maintain active registration with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry).,Deliver a legendary customer experience through service, advice, and relationship building.,Understand and support the Bank's Customer Service Strategy.,Serve as a customer advocate, providing resolution, tips, and insights.,Engage in lobby leadership, orchestrating customer flow and guiding appropriately.,Educate customers on self-service banking options.,Perform various teller transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers, and withdrawals while adhering to fraud mitigation and operational policies.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).,Promote TD's full suite of products, sales, and services.,Support the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.,Ensure accurate documentation consistent with rules and regulations.,Comply with the Bank Code of Conduct.,Contribute to Operational Excellence by adhering to Risk and Control Policies and Procedures.,Participate as a team member, fostering a positive work environment and knowledge transfer.,Engage in personal performance management and development.,Act as a brand ambassador for TD.,Utilize coaching feedback for stronger performance.,Establish relationships with partner bankers for effective referrals.,Collaborate with team members to achieve organizational success.,Actively seek opportunities for work improvement and career development.,Embrace change positively.,Adhere to TD's Shared Commitments and code of conduct expectations.

Ideal Candidate

HS Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.,2+ years of related experience working with customers and/or sales.,Teller experience (preferred).,Cross-trained to take customer transactions upon hire.,Notary License (preferred).,Must be eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under Regulation Z.,Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS.,Satisfactory results on a criminal background check and a credit report check.
