Description

The Retail Banker I at TD Bank acts as a customer liaison, utilizing financial expertise and consultative advice to assist customers with banking solutions. This role focuses on achieving business objectives by identifying appropriate TD solutions to help customers reach their financial goals and optimize their relationship with TD. Key aspects include building customer relationships, making product recommendations, resolving issues, and participating in customer outreach and advice activities.

What We're Looking For

Proficient in products, services, and routine transactions to educate customers and refer to appropriate partners.,Establishes and nurtures customer relationships through product knowledge and active listening.,Makes product recommendations based on customer needs, highlighting features and benefits.,Utilizes customer relationship management tools for proactive customer assessments and outbound sales.,Independently resolves customer issues, escalating when necessary.,Builds working relationships and explains detailed information to customers.,Participates in customer outreach, servicing, and advice activities.,Engages in conversations about loan products and facilitates application intake.,Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry).

Ideal Candidate

HS Diploma or GED.,1+ years' experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience preferred.,Teller experience preferred.,Must be able to complete teller training upon hire.,Notary License (Preferred).

Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry).,Must be eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under Regulation Z.,Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS (SAFE Act).,Satisfactory results on a criminal background check and a credit report check, and statements/certification from job applicant regarding administrative, civil, and/or criminal findings by any government agency/authority, are required by federal law for this position.
