The Retail Banker I serves as a customer liaison, utilizing financial expertise and consultative advice to assist customers with banking solutions and needs. This role focuses on identifying appropriate TD solutions to help customers achieve financial goals, optimize their relationship with TD, and contribute to business growth by delivering excellent customer service and fostering strong customer relationships.
Utilize financial expertise to provide consultative advice and banking solutions to customers.,Identify and recommend appropriate TD products and services to meet customer financial goals.,Establish and nurture customer relationships by understanding needs and offering solutions or referrals.,Proactively engage in customer assessments and outbound sales activities using CRM tools.,Independently resolve customer issues and problems, escalating when necessary.,Participate in customer outreach, servicing, and advice activities.,Engage in conversations about loan products and facilitate application intake.,Deliver a 'Legendary' customer experience, build trust, and advocate for customers' financial confidence.,Perform various teller transactions (e.g., check cashing, deposits, withdrawals) while adhering to fraud mitigation and operational policies.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act.,Participate in store daily operations and risk framework alignment.,Support timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures.,Maintain accurate documentation consistent with client intentions and regulations.,Contribute to a positive team environment, enhance personal expertise, and participate in knowledge transfer.,Act as a brand ambassador for the bank.,Collaborate with team members and partner bankers to achieve team and organizational success.,Actively pursue career development and embrace change.
HS Diploma or GED,1+ years' experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity (preferred, or equivalent through volunteering, education, military experience).,Teller experience (preferred).,Demonstrated ability to engage in customer conversations and educate on products/services (preferred).,Demonstrated organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.,Excellent communication skills (concise, clear, consistent).,Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.,Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.,Sound judgment in decision making and effective problem solving.,Proficient in Microsoft Office.,Notary License (preferred).

Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry).,Must be able to complete teller training upon hire.,Must be eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under Regulation Z.,Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS.,Requires satisfactory results on a criminal background check and a credit report check.,Requires statements/certification from job applicant regarding administrative, civil, and/or criminal findings by any government agency/authority.,Occasional domestic travel.
