Description

This role as a Retail Banker I focuses on serving as a customer liaison for TD Bank, providing financial expertise and consultative advice to assist customers with their banking needs. The individual will contribute to business objectives by identifying and offering appropriate TD solutions to help customers achieve financial goals and optimize their relationship with the bank. The role involves developing customer relationships, making product recommendations, proactive sales activities, and resolving customer issues.

What We're Looking For

Identify opportunities to educate customers on bank products and services.,Establish and nurture customer relationships.,Make product recommendations based on customer needs.,Utilize Customer relationship management tools for assessments and outbound sales activities.,Independently resolve customer issues, escalating when necessary.,Participate in customer outreach, servicing, and advice activities.,Engage in conversations about loan products and facilitate application intake.,May perform teller transactions, monitor fraud, and adhere to operational policies.,Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act).,Participate in daily store operations to align with TD's risk framework.,Ensure timely and accurate completion of business processes.,Escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions.,Ensure accurate documentation reflecting client/business intentions and consistent with regulations.,Comply with Bank Code of Conduct.,Contribute to operational excellence.,Participate as a team member, support a positive work environment, and ensure timely communication.,Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise and participate in knowledge transfer.,Participate in personal performance management and development.,Keep others informed.,Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment.,Act as a brand ambassador.,Utilize feedback through coaching sessions.,Establish relationships with partner bankers for effective referrals.,Collaborate with team members.,Actively seek opportunities to improve delivery of work.,Actively take ownership of career.,Positively embrace change.,Adhere and participate in TD's Shared Commitments and code of conduct.,Engage in advancing and sustaining an inclusive culture.

Ideal Candidate

HS Diploma or GED,1+ years' experience working with customers and/or sales, or equivalent (volunteering, education, military experience) preferred.,Teller experience preferred.,Must be able to complete teller training upon hire.,Notary License (Preferred).
