The Retail Banker I serves as a key customer liaison at TD Bank, leveraging financial expertise and consultative skills to assist customers with their banking needs. This role involves identifying and offering appropriate TD solutions to help customers achieve their financial goals and deepen their relationship with the bank, thereby contributing to business growth. Responsibilities include demonstrating proficiency in banking products and services, educating customers, making referrals, building and nurturing customer relationships, and resolving issues to ensure a positive customer experience.

High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of experience working with customers and/or sales (can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience) preferred
Teller experience preferred
Must be able to complete teller training upon hire
Demonstrated ability to engage in customer conversations while educating on products and services preferred
Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills (concise, clear, and consistent)
Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work
Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines
Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Notary License preferred
