Relationship Manager, Commercial Financial Services

Description

This role as a Relationship Manager in Commercial Financial Services at RBC involves proactively managing client relationships within the Commercial Banking platform, primarily from a Commercial Centre. The position includes a 10-month training program with a mentor, preparing the individual to deliver excellent, responsive, and proactive financial advice and solutions to commercial business clients in areas such as accounts, operating services, credit, lending, and deposits.

What We're Looking For

Deliver value-added financial advice and solutions tailored to clients.,Leverage sales enabling tools, including sales planning, prospecting, and pre-call planning.,Apply a continuous-improvement approach to delivering a superior client experience.,Develop needs-based sales strategies for clients and prospects to grow revenue, deepen client relationships, and achieve high client loyalty.,Minimum 1-2 years of experience in commercial lending preferred, as well as previous banking experience in a relationship management role.,Demonstrated success in a business development role, particularly in acquiring new clients, prospecting, and cold calling.,Experience with financial statement review and computer modeling and analysis.,Experience with emerging communications and technology (e.g., web-based meetings, social media, digital banking, mobile applications).,Bilingualism (English and French) required.

Ideal Candidate

A post-secondary diploma/degree, ideally in commerce or business administration, or related experience.
