Description

As a Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking at CIBC, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients. This involves proactively seeking new business opportunities, ensuring clients' day-to-day banking needs are met, and providing strategic financial solutions and advice to help businesses achieve their goals. You will collaborate with internal partners and build a strong profile within the local business community.

What We're Looking For

Develop new client relationships through business development activities, referrals, existing clients, and centers of influence.,Actively monitor and manage client relationships, understanding their goals and business status.,Work with internal partners to connect clients with opportunities.,Build a profile in the local business community to foster effective working relationships.,Proactively assess client needs and propose suitable financial solutions.,Facilitate prompt responses to client questions, inquiries, or issues to provide excellent service.,Apply industry and company knowledge to develop client/prospect proposals for financial and strategic solutions.,Demonstrated experience in Commercial or Business Banking.,Proven business development skills.,Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles, including valuation techniques and cash flow analysis.,Experience managing the credit quality of a portfolio of commercial banking clients with credit needs and/or complex cash management requirements.

Ideal Candidate

Degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
