Description

As a Relationship Manager within the Commercial Banking team at CIBC, you will develop and manage a portfolio of commercial banking clients. Your responsibilities include proactively seeking new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and structuring comprehensive financial solutions to help clients manage growth, cash flow, efficiency, and risk. The role emphasizes providing end-to-end financial solutions and ensuring high-level service for day-to-day banking needs.

What We're Looking For

Develop new client relationships through business development activities, leveraging referral sources, existing clients, and centers of influence.,Actively monitor and manage client relationships by fully understanding their goals, purpose, and business status.,Proactively assess client needs and propose solutions, structuring, negotiating, and documenting credit and cash management arrangements.,Collaborate with internal partners to connect clients with opportunities and build a strong profile in the local business community.

Ideal Candidate

Experience in commercial or business banking.,Proven business development skills.,Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles, including valuation techniques and cash flow analysis.,Experience managing the credit quality of a portfolio of commercial banking clients with credit needs and/or complex cash management requirements.,Degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
