Description

This internship offers the opportunity to provide business and financial advice, managing a portfolio of high-value small business clients. The role involves acting as an RBC ambassador, focusing on external marketing, client acquisition, and deepening client relationships through tailored financial advice and partnerships with other RBC advisors. Key responsibilities include proactive client engagement, risk management, and promoting digital banking solutions.

What We're Looking For

Acquire, grow, and deepen client relationships by delivering value-added, tailored financial advice.,Proactively contact clients, gather insights through discovery, understand their needs and changing circumstances, and ensure ongoing satisfaction.,Plan and prioritize client and market activities, identify opportunities, and make introductions to RBC partners.,Manage risk and exercise due diligence in all banking procedures, developing appropriate action plans in response to concerns/risks.,Champion digital enablement and advocate for RBC mobile and online applications, enabling clients to engage through their channel of choice.,Visit clients on-site to gain a thorough understanding of their business objectives and operations.,Demonstrated business development and client acquisition/prospecting skills, including building and leveraging valuable Centres of Influence.,Proven track record in exceptional client relationship management.,Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.,Bilingualism (English and French) is required.

Ideal Candidate

Credit skills and knowledge, including an understanding of risk assessments, financial analyses, credit structuring/solutions, and deal presentations.,Completion of the Associate Account Manager training program, or previous experience as a small business owner, or in a similar field.,Good knowledge of a broad array of business and personal financial products and services.
