Description

As a Relationship Manager, you will advise and manage a portfolio of high-value small business clients, helping them start, manage, and grow their ventures. This role involves acting as RBC's ambassador to the local business market, focusing on client acquisition, deepening relationships, and partnering with other RBC specialists to deliver a valuable client experience.

What We're Looking For

Acquire, grow, and deepen client relationships by providing tailored financial advice.,Proactively contact clients to gather insights, understand evolving needs, and ensure ongoing satisfaction with RBC services.,Plan and prioritize client and market activities, identify opportunities, and facilitate introductions to RBC partners to fulfill clients' business and personal financial needs.,Manage risk and exercise due diligence in all banking procedures, developing action plans for any identified concerns or risks.,Champion digital enablement and advocate for RBC mobile and online applications, enabling clients to engage through their preferred channel.,Visit clients on-site to gain a thorough understanding of their business objectives and operations, as permitted.

Ideal Candidate

Must-have: Business development, client acquisition, and prospecting skills, including building and leveraging valuable Centres of Influence within the local business community.,Must-have: Proven track record in exceptional client relationship management.,Must-have: Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.,Nice-to-have: Credit skills and knowledge, including understanding risk assessments, financial analyses, credit structuring/solutions, and deal presentations.,Nice-to-have: Completion of the Associate Account Manager training program, or previous experience as a small business owner, or in a similar field.,Nice-to-have: Good knowledge of a broad array of business and personal financial products and services.
