Description

This internship offers the opportunity to build and expand long-term relationships with new and existing small business clients by providing holistic advice for their business and personal financial needs. The role involves external marketing, client acquisition, and collaboration with other RBC specialists to achieve market dominance.

What We're Looking For

Drive business sales volume and solutions through opportunity spotting.,Generate referrals and sales results while ensuring superior client care.,Build internal and external networks and implement an effective prospecting strategy.,Lead in risk management, exercise due diligence in banking procedures, and develop action plans for concerns/risks.,Deliver value-added financial advice and continuously improve the Client First experience.,Visit clients on-site to understand their business objectives and operations (as permitted).,Ability to cultivate long-term client relationships and acquire new clients.,Business development and prospecting skills, including leveraging valuable centers of influence within the local business community.,Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Ideal Candidate

Credit skills and knowledge, including an understanding of risk assessments and financial analyses, credit structuring/solutions, and deal presentations.,Proven sales success demonstrated by exceeding sales targets.,Completion of the RBC Banking Advisor training program, or the Associate Account Manager training program, or previous experience as a small business owner, or in a similar position at another financial services business.,Knowledge of a broad array of business and personal financial products and services, as well as financial statements, analyses, and risk assessments.
