The Relationship Manager, Business Banking position at CIBC involves managing and expanding a portfolio of business clients, offering comprehensive financial and credit solutions, and cultivating strong client relationships. The role requires collaboration with various CIBC teams and proactive business development through community engagement and networking. The primary objective is to deliver exceptional client experiences and assist businesses in achieving their financial objectives.

What We're Looking For

Build relationships with Centres of Influence (COIs) to generate referrals through in-person and digital channels.,Connect with existing and potential clients to develop full relationships, providing deposit and credit solutions.,Proactively participate in community and banking centre events to enhance CIBC's presence and market share.,Develop and manage a sales pipeline of diverse business banking opportunities.,Engage with clients to understand immediate financial needs and identify opportunities for longer-term goals.,Demonstrate service excellence by being proactive and ensuring client financial needs are met.,Deliver trusted advice and financial solutions, and cultivate networks for new client relationships.,Promote and demonstrate digital banking options and CIBC’s Cash Management products.,Support existing clients and continuously seek new client acquisition opportunities through referrals and internal partnerships.,Manage and grow a portfolio of business-only connections, focusing on deepening relationships and addressing business needs.,Heighten CIBC brand awareness through local events and marketing activities to generate future small business opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

2+ years’ experience in Business Banking or Commercial Banking.,Strong knowledge of credit, cash management products and services.,Knowledge of business cash flow and financial analysis to assess and deliver on new business opportunities.,An established network in the local business community.,Completed an undergraduate degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
