Proactively manage and expand a portfolio of business-only connections, focusing on deepening client relationships and addressing business needs.,Develop relationships with Centres of Influence (COIs) in the community to generate referrals through in-person and digital channels.,Engage with existing and potential clients to identify opportunities for comprehensive relationships, providing both deposit and credit solutions.,Participate in community and banking centre events, such as business development, client acknowledgement, and appreciation programs, to enhance CIBC’s presence and gain market share.,Develop and manage a sales pipeline for diverse business banking opportunities.,Proactively discuss immediate and long-term financial needs with assigned portfolio clients, referred clients, and prospective clients.,Deliver exceptional service by being involved and proactive in meeting clients' financial needs.,Provide trusted advice and financial solutions, cultivating networks to establish new client relationships.,Promote and demonstrate digital banking options and CIBC’s Cash Management products.,Continuously seek new opportunities for client acquisition through referrals and internal partnerships.,Attend local events and participate in marketing and outreach activities to raise CIBC brand awareness and generate small business opportunities.
Demonstrated experience in Business Banking.,2+ years of experience in Business Banking or Commercial Banking.,Strong knowledge of credit, cash management products and services.,Knowledge of business cash flow and financial analysis to assess new business opportunities.,Established network within the local business community.,Undergraduate degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
