Description
This role is for a Relationship Manager in Business Banking at CIBC, based in Laval, QC. The primary focus is on building and maintaining client relationships, understanding their financial and credit needs, and providing comprehensive business banking solutions. The manager will work with existing and new clients to support their short-term and long-term business goals, aiming to deepen client loyalty and expand CIBC's market share. This involves collaborating with various CIBC experts and managing a portfolio of business connections to ensure all client needs are met.
What We're Looking For
Provide an exceptional client experience and support CIBC's vision of leadership in client relationships.,Understand and identify client needs to deepen CIBC relationships and increase client loyalty.,Ensure clients' financial and credit needs are met through comprehensive business banking offers or introductions to appropriate colleagues.,Collaborate with experts across CIBC to meet client needs.,Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of business-only connections.,Build relationships with Centres of Influence (COIs) for referrals.,Connect with existing and potential clients to identify opportunities for full relationships (deposit and credit solutions).,Participate in community and banking centre events to enhance CIBC's presence.,Develop and manage a sales pipeline of diverse business banking opportunities.,Engage with assigned portfolio, partner-referred, and prospective clients to understand financial needs.,Demonstrate service excellence and deliver trusted advice and financial solutions.,Promote digital banking options and CIBC's Cash Management products.,Seek new client acquisition opportunities through referrals and internal partner relationships.,Manage and grow a portfolio with a focus on deepening client relationships.,Heighten CIBC brand awareness through local events and marketing activities.
Ideal Candidate
Demonstrated experience in Business Banking.,2+ years' experience in Business Banking or Commercial Banking.,Strong knowledge of credit, cash management products and services.,Knowledge of business cash flow and financial analysis.,Established network in the local business community.,Undergraduate degree/diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.,Fluent in French and English.
