The Relationship Manager is responsible for driving profitable business growth and delivering an exceptional customer experience within the agricultural sector. This involves building and deepening client relationships, managing an assigned portfolio, developing new business opportunities, and providing tailored credit and non-credit financial products and services. The role requires strong financial acumen, risk assessment, and collaboration with internal and external partners to meet customer needs and business targets.

What We're Looking For

Deliver exceptional customer service and continuously improve the customer experience.,Lead all aspects of relationship management for an assigned portfolio.,Act as a confident business banker, providing creative products and solutions.,Build a robust understanding of customer/target needs, industries, and markets.,Understand customer's operating environment, structure unique financing, cash management, and overall business needs.,Develop and maintain centre of influence strategies and relationships.,Identify customer/prospect referral opportunities to internal Bank partners.,Develop and implement sales strategies to attract, acquire, and retain customers.,Meet or exceed business targets.,Negotiate to maximize profitability of relationships.,Contribute to credit applications with high-quality risk assessment, credit structure, due diligence, and presentation.,Oversee account management to ensure adherence to guidelines and limits.,Understand market and industry within the portfolio to mitigate risk.,Comply with regulatory and operational risk requirements and the Bank and industry Code of Conduct.,Develop productive relationships with external partners to identify new business opportunities.,Participate as a team member, supporting a positive work environment.,Provide thought leadership and participate in knowledge transfer.,Keep current on emerging trends and grow knowledge of the business.,Provide mentorship and leverage best practices.,Lead, motivate, and develop relationships with internal and external business partners/stakeholders.,Manage a portfolio characterized by moderate to high cash management, deposit, and credit complexity requirements.,Interpret and analyze customer financial statements with expert credit acumen.,Solve problems of moderate to high complexity and recommend new product and service solutions.,Possess expert level knowledge of products, sales, services, credit management practices and processes.

Ideal Candidate

Undergraduate/Graduate degree,7+ years of relevant experience,Expert level credit acumen,Expert level knowledge of products, sales, services, credit management practices, and operating standards

Minimum Education
