As a Relationship Manager within CIBC's Private Wealth organization, you will collaborate with a Senior Relationship Manager to maintain and grow relationships with high-net-worth clients. The role involves aligning with client financial needs and investment objectives, contributing to business growth through networking, community involvement, and excellent relationship management.
Support the management of a shared portfolio of high-net-worth clients, ensuring strong retention and ongoing business growth while aligning with investment objectives and firm policies.,Contribute to acquiring new clients with complex financial needs through strategic business development activities and close collaboration with Business Development Officers and your team.,Support the achievement of revenue goals, assist in managing expenses, and monitor overall profit performance, taking timely action as part of the team when needed.,Help foster a high-touch service culture by leveraging expertise in investment and wealth advisory services to deliver tailored client solutions in collaboration with the team.,Participate in client events to deepen relationships and support new business development efforts as part of a coordinated team approach.,Partner across internal teams to provide a seamless, professional, and timely client experience, working closely with colleagues and leaders.,Support the implementation and maintenance of strong operational and compliance risk controls across all activities, in line with team and organizational standards.,A proven track record of managing high-net-worth client relationships.,Expertise in investment and wealth advisory services.,A collaborative mindset to deliver seamless client service.,Strong financial acumen and relationship management skills to develop and execute customized client solutions.
Bachelor's degree (required).,Advanced certifications such as MBA, CFA, CPA, or CFP are preferred.,6-8 years of experience in portfolio management, wealth management, personal tax, or financial planning.,Strong understanding of investment products and strategies designed for sophisticated, high-net-worth clients.,Experience working Trust accounts and familiarity with estate planning.,Skilled in financial analysis and able to offer expert advice on complex, high-value relationships.,Excel at cultivating lasting client relationships and delivering tailored recommendations that inspire trust and action.,Comfortable presenting to both small groups and large audiences, with excellent written skills for crafting professional proposals and presentations.,Uses advanced negotiation and influencing skills to identify and pursue new business opportunities.,Acts with professionalism and sound judgment, always keeping the client's success in focus.,Maintains a strong understanding of operational, regulatory, and compliance-related requirements.
