Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Consultant - US Operational Risk

The Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Consultant will support the implementation and ongoing management of CIBC's Regulatory Compliance Management Program across the US Region. This involves overseeing compliance risk, assessing compliance risk in various business lines and legal entities, and ensuring the program operates effectively and efficiently. The role also includes fostering strong relationships with business partners and contributing to strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Support regulatory oversight through research and analysis of regulatory requirements.,Build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners, providing support and effective challenge on RCM Program processes, regulatory changes, risk assessments, controls, and deficiencies.,Analyze regulatory inventory and data libraries to identify opportunities for program enhancement and data quality improvement.,Develop and facilitate training on RCM Program methodologies, guidelines, templates, and educational materials.,Assist with analysis and reporting of RCM Program activities, including developing and maintaining metrics for regulatory compliance risk.,Participate in RCM strategic initiatives and projects.

Ideal Candidate

5+ years' experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or compliance audit/testing role with a large banking or financial services organization.,Working knowledge of compliance risk assessment management or risk assessment and control methodologies.,Familiarity with Federal and state laws and regulations applicable to banking, broker-dealers, swap dealers, or registered investment advisors, or knowledge of regulatory requirements related to enterprise regulatory compliance risk management.
