Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Consultant - US Operational Risk

Description

The Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Officer will contribute to the implementation and ongoing management of CIBC's Regulatory Compliance Management Program. This involves overseeing and assessing compliance risks specifically within the US Region and ensuring the program operates effectively across various business units, support functions, and legal entities, under the guidance of the US RCM Program Manager.

What We're Looking For

Support regulatory oversight through research and analysis of regulatory requirements.,Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, offering support and constructive challenge on RCM Program processes, regulatory changes, risk assessments, controls, and identified deficiencies.,Conduct analysis on the regulatory inventory and data libraries to identify opportunities for program enhancement and strengthening, including improving data quality.,Develop and deliver training sessions on RCM Program methodologies, guidelines, templates, educational materials, job aids, and other communications.,Assist in the analysis and reporting of RCM Program activities, including the development and maintenance of metrics to measure regulatory compliance risk.,Participate in RCM strategic initiatives and projects as assigned by the RCM Program Manager.

Ideal Candidate

5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or a compliance audit/testing role within a large banking or financial services organization.,Working knowledge of compliance risk assessment management or risk assessment and control methodologies.,Familiarity with Federal and state laws and regulations applicable to banking, brokered-dealers, swap dealers, or registered investment advisors, or general knowledge of regulatory requirements related to enterprise regulatory compliance risk management.
