Description

The Regional Vice President (Wholesaler) at TD Asset Management (TDAM) is responsible for building and nurturing client relationships and distributing TDAM's investment products, including ETFs, Mutual Funds, and SMAs, within a designated Advice Distribution territory. This role involves leading a team, developing business plans, increasing market share, and consistently engaging with investment advisors and portfolio managers through various meetings and events. The position also requires adherence to corporate and industry sales practices and managing co-op marketing opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Manage client relationships and sell TD Asset Management strategies (ETFs, Mutual Funds, SMAs) within an assigned Advice Distribution territory.,Lead and mentor a territory Business Development Manager and Business Development Associate.,Draft and implement a comprehensive business plan.,Create a segmentation model to ensure excellent service standards.,Develop new business and increase share of wallet within the region.,Service, manage, and grow existing relationships.,Conduct approximately 20 meetings per week, including one-on-one, group, branch meetings, events, and roadshows with investment advisors and portfolio managers.,Uphold Corporate and Industry sales practices, including assessing and managing co-op marketing opportunities from both a business and National Instrument 81-105 perspective, and taking ownership of the co-op process.

Ideal Candidate

University Degree,Preference given to industry accreditations (CFA, CIM, CFP, FCSI),5+ years of industry sales experience,In-depth knowledge of both asset management and wealth management industry,Effective presentation and communication skills,Strong interest in capital markets,Excels in a sales environment
