Regional Manager, Quality

Description

This role involves leading Quality Assurance and Food Safety initiatives for Saputo plants in Wisconsin, including the Franklin plant. The manager will ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal Saputo quality and food safety standards, providing support for QA systems from raw material conversion to finished product.

What We're Looking For

Support Quality Assurance systems for process evaluation and product protection programs.,Ensure FSMA Compliance.,Assist with construction plans.,Implement and train on Food Safety Plan/HACCP.,Manage sanitation programs.,Oversee product storage and distribution.,Administer the Hold Program.,Conduct product testing and review.,Manage mock trace program and requirements.,Handle product safety incident reports and product disposition.,Provide internal and external audit support.,Manage environmental microbiological monitoring programs.,Ensure regulatory compliance.,Collaborate with functions like Sanitation, Engineering, Transportation, Warehousing, and Tech Services.,Mentor Quality Assurance Specialists.,Develop and manage travel budgets.,Lead problem-solving through team facilitation and on-the-floor leadership to drive continuous improvement.,Communicate with Sales and Customer Service to meet customer requirements proactively.,Maintain professional relationships with Saputo customers and management.,Frequent travel with overnight stays within Wisconsin is required.,Perform miscellaneous duties as necessary.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, Food Science or related field (equivalent experience considered).
