The Real Estate Property Brokerage Analyst at National Bank of Canada will develop their real estate brokerage career within an entrepreneurial investment banking environment. The role involves active participation in various transactions, supporting senior team members, and deepening knowledge of capital markets, the real estate industry, and investment banking.
Provide support in the execution of transactions related to debt placement, equity, and property sales.,Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to underwrite investment real estate transactions and support decision-making.,Create, edit, and prepare proposals, including market research and analysis for offering memorandums.,Conduct property-level due diligence, including property visits, market fundamentals research, and information collection on ownership and tenants.,Read and summarize reports such as appraisals, building condition, environmental reports, and legal documents (e.g., property leases).,Create complex financial models using Excel and Argus for real estate property valuation across asset classes.,Perform various tasks to support senior team members in idea generation, transaction execution, and client coverage efforts.
Undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related real estate field.,A minimum of 2 years of applicable real estate experience (property or debt brokerage, real estate appraisal, asset/investment management, capital markets, or real estate financial analysis is an asset).,OACIQ and/or AMF licensing is considered an asset.
