This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Quality Assurance department within a food manufacturing facility. The Quality Supervisor ensures that all products meet stringent food safety and quality standards while leading a team of technicians and maintaining compliance with both regulatory requirements and company policies.
Manage and provide leadership to the Quality Assurance laboratory staff,Oversee the implementation and maintenance of SQF, HACCP, and food safety programs,Perform and coordinate internal audits and participate in third-party inspections,Ensure all production processes comply with FDA and USDA regulations,Review and manage quality-related documentation and laboratory records,Coordinate environmental monitoring and sanitation verification programs,Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment,HACCP certification,Knowledge of GFSI standards (SQF preferred),Experience in food or dairy manufacturing
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Full-time; schedule may require flexibility based on production needs
