Monitors and ensures product quality and production procedures within the Waupun facility, adhering to quality, food safety, employee safety, and GMP standards. This role involves communicating quality issues, assisting production personnel, maintaining HOLD and positive release programs, conducting sampling for the Corporate QA Environmental Program, and performing non-regulatory plant inspections. The specialist will also handle customer complaint tracking, assist with implementing and monitoring SOPs, and support QA Supervisor during audits. Additionally, the role includes data entry, trending analysis, special project follow-up, and assisting with new-hire GMP and other food safety trainings.
Monitors product quality and production procedures.,Interacts with personnel at all levels to communicate quality issues.,Assists production personnel by providing instructions, direction and guidance.,Assists with maintaining the HOLD and positive release programs.,Responsible for sampling and compliance with Corporate QA Environmental Program.,Conducts non-regulatory plant inspections as directed.,Conducts electronic customer complaint tracking and investigating customer complaints.,Assists with implementing, monitoring and maintaining Sanitation and Production Standard Operating Procedures, Controlled Documents, and the Master Sanitation Schedule.,Monitors Master Sanitation Schedule completion on a monthly basis.,Provides support and back up to QA Supervisor in audits.,Assists with data entry and performs monthly trending of swabbing results, customer complaints and foreign material incidents.,Provides follow up on special projects related to quality in cheese production, whey, and shred departments.,Assists with monitoring finished product specifications for all departments.,Assists with monitoring HACCP and FSMA programs.,Assists with conducting new-hire Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training and other food safety and quality trainings as needed.
Maintains current knowledge of dairy chemistry, microbiology, and regulations.,Understanding and complying with the Current Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety guidelines.
