Quality Assurance Supervisor Trainee
Description
This role at Saputo involves supporting plant operations in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, including developing and implementing policies, conducting tests and inspections, identifying issues, and proposing solutions. The supervisor trainee will lead and guide the plant Quality/Lab Department personnel, ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards, and overseeing various quality control and assurance systems.
What We're Looking For
Support plant operations in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.,Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the plant Quality/Lab Department and plant personnel.,Understand regulatory, customer, and internal Saputo quality requirements.,Oversee Quality Assurance systems (process evaluation, product protection programs, process specifications/standards, sanitation programs, HACCP, GMP, production labeling, product storage and distribution).,Oversee quality control systems (hold programs, mock recalls, lab procedures, product functionality evaluations, process verification programs, internal/external audits, environmental microbiological monitoring programs).,Communicate and interact effectively with lab personnel, all departments, sister plants, and all levels of management.,Perform miscellaneous duties as needed.
Ideal Candidate
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
