Laura Canada is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure technology and application development products meet defined quality standards. This role involves managing daily defect resolution to align with business and technology requirements for various internal users.

What We're Looking For

Partner with Business Analysts, Developers, and Business SMEs from requirements through deployment to ensure quality is built in from the start.,Review business and functional requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, testable, and aligned with business processes.,Define and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.,Validate complex workflows across integrated systems (e.g., POS, ERP, Inventory, CRM, eCommerce), including data accuracy and reconciliation points.,Execute testing in alignment with release schedules and defined quality standards.,Maintain and evolve test cases based on defects, enhancements, and post-implementation learnings.,Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, expected results, and impact assessment.,Validate fixes and confirm readiness prior to UAT and production deployment.,Collaborate with PMO and delivery teams on release planning, ensuring test environments and data are ready in advance.,Review test scenarios collaboratively with QA, BA, and Developers to ensure adequate coverage and shared understanding.,Provide QA sign-off recommendations based on test results, risks, and quality thresholds.,Support UAT activities and act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.,Provide Level 2 / Level 3 support during stabilization periods and post-deployment as required.,Contribute to continuous improvement of QA standards, tools, and processes.,Create and maintain QA documentation, including test strategies, test plans, and process documentation.,Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and reliability.

Ideal Candidate

3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within an IT or application delivery environment.,Proven experience creating and executing test cases based on business and functional requirements.,Experience testing integrated systems and end-to-end business processes.,Experience with defect and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Xray, Zephyr).,Understanding of release management and deployment cycles.,Familiarity with test automation concepts and tools is an asset.,Experience in vertically integrated retail, including manufacturing, omnichannel sales is an asset.,Experience with systems such as Aptos, Centric, Akeneo, Bloomreach, and Shopify is an asset.
