QA Automation Analyst

Description

This hybrid role involves performing comprehensive QA testing, ensuring business logic and data mappings are thoroughly validated, and designing and executing test scenarios across functional, integration, data, and edge-case conditions. The analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing automation frameworks using Java and/or Python, as well as creating detailed test cases, test plans, and defect documentation to uphold high-quality standards.

What We're Looking For

Perform comprehensive QA testing, ensuring all business-signed-off logics and data mappings are validated thoroughly.

Design and execute test scenarios that cover all functional, integration, data, and edge-case conditions that may impact deliverables or expected logic behavior.

Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using Java and/or Python.

Ensure high-quality standards by creating detailed test cases, test plans, and defect documentation.

Ideal Candidate

Strong hands-on experience in designing and executing automated test scripts (QA Automation).

Excellent ability to write complex SQL queries for validation of data, mappings, and ETL outputs (SQL).

Experience validating ETL workflows, transformation logic, and data consistency across systems (ETL Testing).

Proficiency in Python and Java for automation, scripting, and validation (Programming).

Hands-on experience creating and maintaining Selenium based automation for UI workflows (Selenium).

Ability to build or enhance frameworks in Java or Python (e.g., TestNG, PyTest, Page Object Model, hybrid frameworks) (Automation Frameworks).

Special Commitments

This role is hybrid and requires presence at the downtown Toronto and/or Client office (160 Front Street West, Toronto) a minimum of 2 days per week; this is subject to change at any time.
