Work within the internal compilation orchestration system to monitor status, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis to prevent issues.,Implement and manage quality checkpoints, including static code analysis and data validation tools, to ensure high standards for code integrations.,Provide clear and timely communications during incidents, write technical documentation, and foster cross-team collaboration for complex error resolution.,Proactively identify error patterns and bottlenecks in the compilation process, and propose/implement workflow optimization solutions.,Design, develop, and maintain tools to improve compilation efficiency, system diagnostics, and reporting.
Excellent C++ skills.,Strong ability to debug complex compilation failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement diagnostic/error logging tools.,In-depth knowledge of modern version control systems (Perforce and/or Git), including branching, merging, and build triggering mechanisms.,Meticulous attention to detail, rigorous analytical thinking, and a strong sense of urgency for resolving critical incidents.,Excellent cross-team collaboration and incident communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to various stakeholders.,Experience with AAA game engines and various engine systems/technologies, combined with a passion for programming excellence and well-designed systems.
