Programmatic Operations Manager, Bell Media

Description

The Programmatic Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing Bell Media's programmatic ad stack, focusing on sell-side ad technology improvements and collaborating with sales and revenue teams. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively communicate programmatic offerings to clients and internal stakeholders. It is a critical position within the Digital Monetization team, tasked with shaping the future of programmatic business across all of Bell Media's digital brands and platforms.

What We're Looking For

Ensure inventory flow and programmatic setup/maintenance on multiple systems (ad servers, SSPs) with a 'sell-side' focus to maximize yield from publisher inventory.,Lead programmatic ad stack optimization and strategy, acting as the subject matter expert for all platforms and integrations (including header-bidding, non-guaranteed, and guaranteed supply).,Build and maintain relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners (SSPs).,Communicate technological constraints and address general troubleshooting needs.,Support Ad Operations team members with programmatic-related questions or issues.,Provide regular reports, workflow analysis, and recommendations to improve operational efficiency across Bell Media's programmatic team.,Collaborate with Ad Ops, Sales, DevOps, and Finance teams to enhance merchandising and development of Programmatic products and offerings.,Work closely with the programmatic team on strategies to maximize yield, adapt to technical challenges, meet buyer needs, and ensure smooth product evolution in a dynamic environment.

Ideal Candidate

Minimum of 4 years of experience focused on sell-side programmatic monetization workflows.,Advanced understanding of programmatic platforms and transaction mechanics, specializing in publisher monetization.,Experience with ad servers (GAM 360, Cadent, Freewheel, Spring Serve) and SSP integrations including Magnite, Index Exchange, and Adx.,Experience with data analytics tools, order management system integrations, and brand safety.,Familiarity with Digital Audio, Advanced Television, and Connected TV.,Knowledge of Data Management Platforms and Identity Strategies.,Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities for data-driven decisions.,Curious, motivated, crafty, and open-minded to innovative solutions, driving process development.,Willingness to professionally challenge the status quo.,Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment and be a team player.,Strong problem-solving skills.
