Contribute to the design and implementation of new and existing user interfaces and their intersections with gameplay features and services.,Optimize and fix errors in existing systems.,Build relationships with adjacent teams, including Art, Design, Product, and Performance, while working on cutting-edge features that support player experiences across the Fortnite ecosystem.,Collaborate effectively with colleagues, share knowledge, and support the success of others, as well as your own.,Write and document reliable and sustainable code, keeping extensibility in mind.,Maintain a strong attention to detail, especially regarding functionality, readability, and compliance.
Strong understanding of C++ and technical fundamentals.,Experience developing user interface features for mobile platforms.,Experience with game development in Unreal Engine.,General experience with web services.,Commitment to delivering quality work with a collaborative and solution-focused approach, as well as a willingness to explore and learn unknown systems.,Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully in a remote and diverse team environment.,Interest in games or interactive experiences and UI/UX design principles.,Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.,Experience with UMG and Slate is a plus.
