The Production Line Attendant is responsible for preparing and packaging cheese products according to customer specifications, company policies, and GMPs. This role involves maintaining accurate records, adhering to safety measures, and ensuring the efficiency of the packaging process. Attendants will also assist with machinery setup, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean work area.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures including GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and H&S.,Efficiently package cheese into desired packaging material.,Identify and communicate any out-of-spec product conditions; follow established notification protocol.,Assist in the set-up of the packaging process (machinery, date code printers, computers, product labels, proper vat selection, added ingredients).,Perform quality checks to assure product is packaged according to customer specifications on production sheet (price/date/label/packaging).,Read and comprehend production worksheets.,Keep work area neat, clean, and organized at all times.,Make productive use of down time.,Attend various mandatory safety and departmental meetings.,Able to rotate into all positions on the line.,Box and palletize boxes according to instructions: ensuring accurate counts and proper identification.,Sanitize lines when needed.,Enter data on production reports.,Perform any assignment or job task according to stated safety policies and procedures.,Produce products exceeding quality and value expectation by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in the Safe Quality Food Program.
Can consistently push, pull, and lift between 20 and 40 pounds.,Can work with frequent bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, and maneuvering around manufacturing equipment.,Can continuously stand or walk on a concrete surface.,Can work scheduled hours and required overtime as needed.,Have basic analytical and numerical skills and the ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement.,Can communicate effectively and efficiently.,Have a working knowledge of Safety Methods and Procedures.,Committed to food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.,Ability to work in a manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.,Physical lifting up to 40-lbs unassisted frequently throughout the shift.,Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment, and following approved chemical handling procedures.
2nd shift (2:00PM-3:00PM Start, 10:00PM-11:00PM End)

Requires working in a manufacturing environment with noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), and continuous physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, maneuvering around equipment).
