Description

The Production Clerk at Saputo Inc. actively supports the manufacturing and/or production process by coordinating tasks, tracking materials, and maintaining records to ensure efficient production flow. This role involves data entry, inventory control, resolving material variances, monitoring system functionality, recording production volumes, and assisting with training and administrative duties.

What We're Looking For

Perform accurate data entry and reporting of ingredients, raw material usage, and inventories into the ERP system.,Support inventory control activities (daily, weekly, monthly, fiscal quarter-end and year-end).,Review, analyze, and resolve material inventory variances in the Enterprise Control Component (ECC).,Investigate and communicate material usage inventory discrepancies with leadership team.,Monitor system functionality and resolve transactions and data entry errors.,Record daily production volume and product activity by production line and validate OEE.,Help to identify projects based on data collected from shift notes and downtime logs.,Assist production leadership in developing training materials, coaching, updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.,Use data analysis and SAP tools for insights.,Perform typical administrative duties: filing, faxing, scanning, emailing, report writing, and other clerical duties.,Support internal/external audits.,Perform good housekeeping within established guidelines.,Adhere to the Saputo code of ethics and actively apply Saputo values.,Work professionally in a team environment.,Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.

Ideal Candidate

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain organized records.,Accurate data entry and record-keeping are crucial.,Effective written and verbal communication skills.,Proficiency in using computer software for data entry, record-keeping, and communication (SAP/DMS).,Ability to identify and resolve issues related to production, inventory, or scheduling.,Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification, if applicable.,Demonstrated work history.,A working knowledge of food manufacturing acronyms (SQF, HACCP, SOP, 5S, GMP, etc.).,Good attendance is a must.

Special Commitments

Ability to work for periods of time in a manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift. Physical lifting up to 40lbs unassisted.
