Description

The Product Owner will join the models, Technology and Transformation team at National Bank, playing a vital role in protecting the organization and its clients by contributing to strategic priorities. This position requires motivating leadership, effective communication, and the ability to convert complex issues into actionable solutions. The role involves leveraging product owner experience and knowledge of screening activities to advance the team’s mission. The successful candidate will be part of a 18-member Compliance team, reporting to the Senior Manager – PCMLTF risk Management, within a collaborative and creative environment passionate about fighting financial crime, with an emphasis on continuous learning and development.

What We're Looking For

Act as a Product Owner (PO) using Scrum/Agile methodology in strategic screening initiatives and team projects.,Be responsible for the complete delivery of initiatives and contribute to the evolution of the product/request roadmap.,Collaborate with experts and partners to represent business needs and define solution acceptance criteria.,Define, break down, and sequence the target vision to maximize value delivery while managing constraints and interdependencies, including optimizing the product backlog and prioritizing the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) based on business value.,Support change adoption, engage stakeholders, and proactively address resistance.,Continuously improve the product, manage adjustments, and propose sustainable optimizations that anticipate future needs.

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in a similar role.,Proven experience in product ownership within an agile context (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).,Ability to work in Agile mode (Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework - SAFe) and deliver without complete specifications.,Experience managing large-scale business projects from initiation to post-deployment.,Knowledge of screening activities.,Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and translate technical language for various audiences.
