Product Director, Credit Card Digital Sales

Description

The Product Director will lead the strategy and execution for digital credit card sales at RBC, focusing on creating seamless, digital-first client experiences across advisor, online, and mobile channels. This role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, leading a high-performing team of product managers, fostering cross-functional collaboration with various departments, and leveraging client insights and market trends to innovate and optimize digital offerings. The director will also ensure all digital distribution channels comply with industry regulations and internal policies.

What We're Looking For

Define and execute a forward-thinking strategy for digital product acquisition across all channels.,Oversee the full lifecycle of digital distribution products from ideation to post-launch performance management.,Lead and mentor a team of product managers, promoting innovation and results.,Collaborate with design, technology, line of business, risk/compliance, operations, marketing, and enablement teams.,Utilize client insights, behavioral data, and market trends to ensure client-centric strategies.,Stay abreast of digital banking trends and identify new market opportunities.,Guide the introduction and optimization of new distribution features to improve conversion and client satisfaction.,Ensure all digital distribution channels comply with industry regulations and internal policies.

Ideal Candidate

10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years focused on credit cards or digital product management within retail banking or fintech.,Proven experience in leading digital product teams, with strong mentorship abilities.,Demonstrated expertise in the development and optimization of digital products for seamless client experiences.,Strong understanding of retail banking products, digital transformation, and emerging fintech trends.,Experience working with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management tools.,Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.,Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.,Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.,Nice-to-have: MBA or advanced degree in a related field.,Nice-to-have: Experience launching digital distribution platforms or apps with a significant user base.,Nice-to-have: Knowledge of API-driven product ecosystems.
