This role supports Relationship Managers and Investment Advisors who serve high-net-worth clients by assisting with sales and relationship management. Key responsibilities include managing the client onboarding process, focusing on accurate new account openings and fundings, participating in financial planning, and providing administrative, analytical, and service support to team members. The specialist ensures legendary customer service, handles complex financial transactions, and coordinates with other specialists to meet client needs.
Ensure legendary service during every customer interaction.,Competence executing tasks on required platforms (Private Banking, Investments, Trusts).,Handle complex financial transactions.,Coordinate with relationship managers for client onboarding, including discovery and document completion.,Assist in deepening wallet share by anticipating client needs and suggesting appropriate solutions.,Leverage and coordinate specialists (Taxes, Trust and Estate) for complex clients.,May act as primary contact for client relationships regarding portfolio information and basic financial planning.,Resolve difficult client issues, problems, and requests.,Identify opportunities within the portfolio to refer to Retail, Commercial, and other Wealth Partners.,Execute in a manner compliant with regulations, policies, and procedures (OCC, SEC, FINRA).,Adhere to TD Wealth FCRM/ATF Policies and Procedures.,Implement TD's Customer Identification Program (CIP) by collecting and verifying identification and performing Due Diligence.,Contribute individually and as a team member for strong performance and collaboration.,Represent TD Wealth professionally.,Be involved in the community and support TDBG charity initiatives.,Provide consistent and accurate administrative support (filing, report generation, presentations, spreadsheets).,Manage and respond promptly to all incoming inquiries/requests.,Complete all applicable specialized training.,Assist with all aspects of account administration, retention, and specialized services.,Maintain various databases and computer systems, ensuring data accuracy and creating reports.,Guide and direct others as necessary; act as a specialist resource.,Keep team informed about status of account administration, retention, and projects.,Complete assigned administrative/Client service tasks within policy and operating procedures.,Identify and recommend technological/process improvements.
Bachelor's degree preferred.,For internal candidates: 3+ years of experience working with TD's client platforms required.,Series 7, 63/65 or 66 registrations required (may be hired with one, must acquire all within a defined period).,Knowledge of investments, banking, and credit products preferred.,Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision.,Ability to excel at administration and be exceptionally well organized.,Demonstrates considerable initiative in providing a high level of organization.,Experience in professional services and with working with affluent clients is required.,Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Contact Management databases is essential.,Reasonable knowledge of investments, ability to generate reports pertinent to client investment portfolios.,Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and timelines.,Proven track record of delivering results and executing with excellence.,Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
