Description

This role involves providing administrative and sales support to Private Banking Advisors, focusing on delivering exceptional client service for transactional banking needs. The associate will assist clients with various financial inquiries, including lending, borrowing, investing, and commercial lending, while also supporting advisors in managing client portfolios, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting with marketing and client events. The position is client-facing and relationship-driven.

What We're Looking For

Provide administrative and sales support to one or more Private Banking Advisors.,Service Private Banking clients with transactional banking needs and queries.,Respond to client requests, process wires, Visa, tax, and bill payments, and prepare requests for pickup in the branch.,Support portfolio management by reviewing documentation for regulatory compliance and coordinating information for credit renewals and overdraft protections.,Monitor upcoming maturities/renouvellements/expiries and advise the Private Banking Advisor.,Assist in rolling out marketing/client events and maintain deposits and investment accounts.,Greet customers arriving for meetings and arrange contact with appropriate individuals.,Effectively deal with client issues, concerns, or problems promptly or refer to others.,Service the financial needs of existing clients when the Private Banking Advisor is not available (including sale of high value products and services within established guidelines).

Ideal Candidate

Experience with loan, mortgage, and investment products sufficient to respond to general customer inquiries.,Working knowledge of branch routine and operations of other departments and CIBC partners, sufficient to address client inquiries adequately and/or refer to appropriate source.,Ability to engage with clients, understand needs, and respond with appropriate solutions.,Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills to inform decision-making.
