Private Banking Associate (12-month Secondment)

Description

This role involves providing administrative and sales support to Private Banking Advisors. The associate will deliver exceptional service to Private Banking clients by handling transactional banking needs, responding to queries related to lending, borrowing, investing, and commercial lending needs.

What We're Looking For

Provide administrative and sales support to Private Banking Advisors.,Deliver exceptional service to Private Banking clients, assisting with transactional banking needs and queries (lending, borrowing, investing, commercial lending).,Manage client issues and concerns promptly.,Service financial needs of existing clients when Private Banking Advisor is unavailable, including high-value product sales within established guidelines.,Process incoming telephone calls, wire/cable, visa, tax, and bill payments requests.,Handle fax requests for money orders, drafts, currency exchanges.,Complete complex investigations for client account activity.,Support Private Banking Advisor in portfolio management by reviewing customer documentation for compliance.,Coordinate communication with customers for credit renewals, reviews, and temporary overdraft protection.,Monitor diary for upcoming maturities/renewals/expiries.,Assist Manager, Private Banking Operations with marketing/client events and ensure current marketing material.,Carry out activities related to building and maintaining deposits and investment accounts.,Process look-ups, provide account/loan information, process cheque orders, input credit details and loan notes into the system.

Ideal Candidate

Experience with loan, mortgage, and investment products sufficient to respond to general customer inquiries.,Working knowledge of branch routine and operations of other departments and CIBC partners for client inquiries/referrals.

Special Commitments

12-month Secondment, Must be legally eligible to work in Canada, May require valid work or study permit, Willing to complete attribute-based assessment and other skills tests (simulation, coding, French proficiency).
