Private Banking Associate (12-month Secondment)

Description

The Private Banking Associate provides administrative and sales support to Private Banking Advisors, assisting clients with their transactional banking needs and responding to inquiries related to lending, borrowing, investing, or commercial lending.

What We're Looking For

Provide exceptional client service by greeting customers, arranging contacts, promptly addressing issues, and servicing financial needs of existing clients when advisors are unavailable, including high-value product sales within guidelines.,Achieve operational excellence by responding to incoming calls and client requests for various transactions like wires, visa/tax/bill payments, managing fax requests for financial instruments, and completing complex account activity investigations.,Offer sales support to Private Banking Advisors by managing portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulations and bank policies for customer documentation, coordinating communication for credit renewals/reviews, and monitoring upcoming maturities/renewals/expiries.,Provide administrative support by assisting the Manager, Private Banking Operations with marketing/client events, maintaining current marketing materials, carrying out activities for building/maintaining deposits and investment accounts, processing look-ups, providing account/loan information, processing cheque orders, and inputting credit details and loan notes into the system.

Ideal Candidate

Demonstrated experience with loan, mortgage, and investment products sufficient to respond to general customer inquiries.,Working knowledge of branch routines and operations of other departments and CIBC partners to adequately address client inquiries or refer to appropriate sources.,Strong critical thinking skills to inform decision making.,Embodies CIBC values: trust, teamwork, and accountability.
